Im hooking up my modem just like my other modem through the ethernet cord and I've even tried the usb hub, and yes I've called Rogers (my internet provider) and they asked for the Mac adress and S/N Number and I've given them those...severals times. The lights on the modem are all flashing, but the internet won't work... and when I hook up my other modem again everything works fine? anyone know whats going on here? THANKS!

Talofa,

Unfortunately you're going to have to call the ISP tech support back and have them flush the arp cache. They probably still have your IP resolved to the old modem's MAC and that's why you cannot connect on your Motorola surfboard.

When you do call back, ask for a supervisor or escalate it up to the NOC (network operation center). G'luck!
