Problem with my Packard Bell pc. Won't turn on. PLEASE HELP?

Hi there. I accidentally unplugged my computer when it was working. Now it won't start. It says " WEindows could not start because the following programme is missing or corrupt : \windows\system32\config\system

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original CD-ROM
Select "r" at the first screen to start repair.

Unfortunately I don't have the CD-ROM.
I desperately need my pc , please HELP.....
 
You can try going into your BIOS , press ESC or DEL, F10,F8, some keys are different on different machines.

Press one of them repeatedly when you start the PC and a black screen with white writing should come up with options.

Go into BIOS and select -Last Known Good Configuration, this COULD sort it out. However the only real way of doing it is with a disc to repair it which you say you dont have, you need to get hold of one.
