Problems Getting Android 2.2 (Froyo) onto Galaxy S (GT-I9000T)?

Sites, including Samsung UK, report that the update is available for the phone but when I follow their instructions to download the Kies software to then install the Froyo it states that the phone already has the latest version of Android installed (2.1).

Is there something I am doing wrong here? First time having to deal with an Android phone.
