problems wit internet?

well i have high speed comcast(unfortunately) and when i plug in my cable to the modem i get the "limited or no connectivity" sign, well i reboot, and yet...still get it, so i reboot the modem its self and i still get that sign, it has to be something wit my computer cause it detects that the signal is their but it just cant get my ip adress, also others can connect through it? why cant i, maybe i have something in my bios disabled(which i doubt)? help me please/
 
nothing is wrong with your computer, just contact your ISP and they will guide you. all the best
