I have a 99 Acura 3.2 TL..
This has only happened today..and i'm not sure what would cause this to happen.
This is how it goes..
When I start the car, it putters for a second and then dies out.
In order to keep it running I have to rev the engine up between 2 and 3rpm for a few seconds, then I let it come back down and as it drops I throw it into reverse and go. If I don't it'll die right in the middle of the road. After all this happened a few times, I was leaving wal mart and the TCS (traction control light) came on and didn't go back off until I got home and shut the car off for a few seconds then started it back up. When I started it the light stayed off. What would cause that?

Now I think that my fiance said that there is something wrong with the alternater belt.. They put a new alternater about 3 months ago..And the lights in the car flicker and when you are slowly letting off the gas it will shake lightly. Would the alternater belt have anything to do with the car not wanting to start?
And if thats not it, then what would cause it to do this? Bad gas?..I'm at a loss.

Sorry for all the questions..But this car has not really given us any troubles up until now..and all this happened in one day..
Wondering if they have anything to do with eachother.

any help would be great! Thanks
