Sir Howard Stringer, president and CEO of the Sony Corporation, told some 7000 investors that he will see the company "shift from recovery to profitable growth" referring to the PLAYSTATION 3 as a "key driver" for the future, the Associated Press reports.
Despite initial hardware issues and shipping problems, and losing money on its uniquely expensive console, Stringer told shareholders that "We are making a comeback already" and that company believes "the PS3 going forward will be vital to our future, and succeed."
