I know the differences between the two.
One bike is used for extreme, heavy of roading, the other is for general of road and other use.

I just go a full suspension bike for the first time, 26in.
and i am used to riding Hard Tail bikes, and when i rode the full suspension it seemed slower.

I have been mountain biking before, not too serious mountain biking, but mountain biking.

So i am pretty new to setting up bikes, and riding the out.

why is my full suspension seem so slow? is i because of the shocks?

what can i do to it to make it seem faster?

also pros and cons for each bike please.

Full susp.

and Hard tail.

also any tips on maintaining, and tuning up my bike so its good.

the Bike i got was at Costco.
not the best bike shop.lol.

but i have a few weeks to test the bike out, and if i do not like it i can return it.

but any tips on tuning it up would be great, because i know costco is not full of bike experts.

Thanks

oh yea,.
the Bike i got was a schwinn ditch 3.0

Never buy a bike from costco. Go to the local bike shop and get a good bike. A good F/S bike starts out at $900 that Schwinn you have is eating up all your energy in the shocks. Take your bike back before you end up storing it in the garage and never riding it again. Then go to the local bike shop and get a good hard-tail bike. You will be much happier.
