PS3 Doesn't recognise my Portable HDD ?

So i'm aware the HDD needs to be FAT32 for my PS3 to read, but when i click, computer > format. the file system only gives me the option of NTFS(default).

Does this simply mean this HDD cannot be registered on the PS3 at all?
