Ps3 INTERNET CONNECTION PROBLEMS!?

the multiple computers might be the problem. there might be too much on the router and the signal from the ps3 might not pick up the routers signal because either its too slow, or it wont take anymore. you can try plugging an ethernet cord from the ps3 to the computer or the router, if there are extra ports on the router . or you can try putting in the information of your router manually and if nothing comes up then, im sorry. other people are gonna answer you. ull get it solved. hope i helped. to put in the routers thing manually, you can look up ur router on the computer and it'll give u information about it
 
Hi,

I have had my Playstation 3 for about 3 months now and my internet has been working fine, well until a few days ago.

One night I was excited to play call of duty 4 and then i had to do the new system update thing, like 2.7.1 or something.

And i did the update but then i couldnt get my internet connection to be established.

I tried to verify my settings with my network and then i tried the internet test and it said:

Connecting to the access point...
Exchanging key information...
Connecting to the access point...
Exchanging key information...

INTERNET CONNECTION TEST FAILED

It does that sequence above but changes things to like
"obtaining IP adress" and others

and now i cant play online with call of duty!


SO IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION THAT COULD HELP!!!!


PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and i have multiple computers connected to my D-Link DIR-655 wireless router
 
Well i dont really no what to say. But after the update aswell my online gaming hasn't been to good.
