PS3 not reading blu ray disks???

Ok i was playing online on fifa 08 and all of a sudden the game froze i then quitted the game and up comes a black screen. what is the problem?? I've had it for months without any problems. The hard drive works fine nothing wrong with it and everthing else, just the blu-ray disks.

is it because of the blu-ray lens? and will it work if i use the blu-ray/dvd cleaning lens disks?
