PS3 power supply mods? Has anyone seen one?

Here is my problem; I just got that wonderful issue of the red/amber lights in my ps3. It's no longer under warranty, and the case has been opened so no hope of Sony fixing it for $150. I've seen Xbox 360 mods where guy have changed out the power supply for one out of a computer. Has anyone seen this for a PS3?
 
The $150 is for out-of-warranty service just like yours. Sony will still fix it. Ring them 1-800-345-7669.

if u got it open take out the power supply...there should be a model number on it....google and purchase
