Now that HD DVD is officially dead, what effect do you think it'll have on PS3 sales? I know they've been increasing for a while now, but do you think this will cause some kind of explosion in sales?

Like imagine you're looking at a Sales vs. Time graph, do you think there would be a spike in sales within the next few weeks? I think it won't just be gamers buying them now, but maybe families. Like a Dad somewhere is thinking "now I want a blueray player, but if I get a PS3, the kids will have something to do also."

I suppose there's also a chance that sales will increase slightly, but not a whole lot. Opinions?
I'm definitely not saying that the Xbox 360 is dead or anything; it still has a lot going for it. For any Xbox 360 fans reading this who have the HD DVD player, are you at all mad or disgruntled that it won't be as useful anymore? Will you definitely get a Blueray player to connect to it if Microsoft makes one or not bother?

Oh, and I have an 80 GB PS3 and love it. Sure, it has Blueray, but there's so much more, you know? But Xbox 360 owners are free to comment as much as they want on this.
