I need to set up a PS3 with a Mitsubishi HD projection TV that has DIVX and not HDMI. I have a HDMI-DIVX converter cable. Is this good enough or do I need to set the PS3 up with a special component video cable
DIV (DIVx is a video format) will only transfer video signal. Which means you can see the video without sound. You will still need to use the SCART cable for audio (or optical cable if you have an audio receiver with optical input).
