psp internet troubles?

ok so when i try to get online w/ my psp (2000) it connects to the internet just fine then it goes to the google page w/ the website listings and then when i click on a link it says would you like to save this file (yes or no) and if i save it in the PSP/COMMON it doesnt do anything, but if i click no, i dont want to save it, it still doesnt do anything...what do i do to fix it?
