I have always wondered if the spoilers on suv's actually serves a purpose besides looks? I understand the point of spoilers on sports cars (increase the down force), but does one on a big car such as an suv actually give you better handling and better fuel efficiency? I have a honda crv and a lexus lx 470 both with the optional spoiler and I would like to know if there is an actual benefit to it besides looks. Thanks.
