What do you address you significant other as when introducing them to someone? Lover? Partner? Wife? Girlfriend?
Personally, I hate the words "lover" and "partner", but i'm a 16 year old virgin, what the hell do I know?!

Girlfriend! If they get it great, if not it is not my problem!

I don't like to use those words either. I feel like 'lover' and 'partner' are sleazy ways of saying that I'm using her for intercourse only. That being said, I like to say girlfriend.

I say "Hi so and so! This is so and so,my girlfriend" I'm out to the people I choose to mingle with and for those who don't know me will either have to accept me as I am or kick rocks. The words lover and partner are a bit much sometimes especially if your not sexually active with someone yet dating, but that's just me.

I address people by saying hi this is my girlfriend..... What ever her name is haha and I too dislike the terms lover and partner haha remind me of something my mum would use but then again I am only 17 haha :-)! you never know you might come to liking the term 'lover' or 'partner' haha xxx
