Ok he disliked death race 2000 the warriors
and the exterminator Because of the high
violent content but he loved natural born
killers scarface and "kids" which are MUCH
worse than the other movies I mentioned
so can someone explain this to me?

This is my second time asking this I want more than just a few awnsers
But what about the exterminator? The Vilonce in that pushed the story along is ebert politically correct? Because kids had quite a few politically themes but the exterminator was very politically incorrect it was saying man rapes girl=man dies and deserves it no trial no jury straight to death

Yes "r" is right too, when you look at a movie like death race, the violence is in there just to entertain the audience, it has no artistic value. It does not add to the plot and does not take away from it, simply there for entertainment purposes. Then you look at natural born killers and scarface, where violence drives the plot and reenforces the story, not to mention, directed by two fantastic directors, Oliver Stone and Brian De Palma respectively. Ebert might be old, but he knows what he's talking about.

the difference is between gratuitous/senseless violence and the same when its actually forms an essential part of the script.
