I just got a coupon in the mail for an oil change, tire rotation, and 23 point check for $18. This is a great deal, but is it enough as I just hit 30,000 miles. Or must other things be checked?? Please answers from mechanics only. Its a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Its a 4x4. Also, I have done all of the other scheduled maintence up to this point.

typically they send those out and the tech will give you a laundry list of things they found wrong and that $18.00 oil change and rotation will come with a estimate for the other work they are recommending. then it's your call, allot of the things you can probably correct yourself. They will probably also charge you a hazardous waste charge and charge you extra for a filter and fluid top off and may not grease the hinges and so on. After all it said oil change and tire rotation and 23 point inspection, not lube oil and filter, top off all fluids. just be prepared.

okay i agree, great deal. However Jeep standards are replacing the Engine oil every 3,500 miles, Break pads depends on life left, Tires same, however big one that gets overlooked is your transmission fluid. Have them change that as well... Very important aspect. Also they will make sure while its on the hoist there is nothing loose or anything like that. Mainly warranty stuff, they make money alot of money off that stuff and its no expense to you. Sooooo why not?
