question about t-mobile / sidekick.?

i was informed that on May 31 2011 the sidekick owners of t-mobile will no longer be getting service or something. can someone please clarify whats going to happen that day and will they send me the new phone for free?

The old Side Kicks and services are being phased out. There is a new Side Kick 4G coming out, and sounds like it will have other service options.
