How many minimum minutes for bidding before it adds more minutes? So if there are no bids on a certain item, do I have to bid before 5 minutes remaining? Is there a certain minimum to bid before the auction automatically adds more minutes?

One time when I bid under a certain number of minutes, the auction automatically adds additional minutes for someone else to bid.
 
Hi,

Ebay does not add more minutes to an auction, it will finish at the stated time.

Just bid near the end and keep any watch on it in case someone else jumps in with a higher bid.
