Question regarding the Hoverboard in Back to the Future 2 (movie)?

in the Special edition of back to the Future 2 they talk in detail about the Hoverboard made by MATTEL, is the real Monty. It really does work, but when it 1st came out, a Parents Lobby Group banned it from going on sale. They deemed it to Dangerous for kids. But that was then, why carnt they release it now, after all, it is 2012, if People today in 2012 still think it's Dangerous. Then at least give it a Classification. You have to be over 18 years of age to Obtain it.
