I'm not really familiar with video formats and really wish there was a guide/book or something but anyway here's my statement:
I surf the net for videos and most people keep looking for blue-ray, x264, 1024p etc for their formats.
Now i got no idea except that i realized that h.264 format with mkv containers are usually better in quality than the avi.
I'd go for the h.264 mkv but other people seem to disagree, they always look for blue-ray or BD.
So here are my questions: (PLEASE DO NOT COPY & PASTE YOUR ANSWERS, tell them in your own words)
1.) What is blue-ray? (i know its a disc with high space and is read by a blue ray, but aside that, "what makes it so special"?)
2.)Is Blue ray format is better than h.264??
3.)What is blue ray 1024p or blue ray 720p mean??
4.)What is x.264??
5.) Other details about Blue Ray Format
I have more questions but i can't seem to put them in words so please post your sources or add in more advice that you think will be helpful.
P.S: i'm new to Yahoo answers so i dont know how to reward the best answerer so feel free to tell me
