I just bought one for my bird, and it has a sort of "fresh out of a box" smell to it. How do I wash a bird toy like that? I'm not sure if bleach, even in the smallest amounts, is safe. I'm also not sure if hot water is enough to clean and disinfect it. I don't want to use any soaps or anything that can potentially harm my bird.
Also, after washing it, can I place it in the dryer to dry quicker? is that safe? thanks
