My fiance is very overweight (obese). He wants to lose weight but he hurt his knee about a year ago and still can't really run on it or anything. I am wondering if there is a certain kind of doctor or nutritionist that we could go to that would help him lose weight? He ultimately wants to lose around 90 pounds.
I am also wondering about when he decide to have a baby. We want to have one sometime within the next two years. While I am very slim built, most of his family is overweight. I'm guessing it is genetic..but maybe just the way they eat? I am worried about our baby being overweight. If you make sure your baby eats healthy and excersices one they are older..will this stop the risk of obesity? Or will they be overweight no matter what if it runs in the family?
