Questions about Tmobile Shadow?

I currently have a Sidekick iD. I was wondering what people think of the Tmobile Shadow made by HTC. I am thinking about buying this phone. How is the battery life? other apps?

How much does this phone cost?
Would it cost less if I already have a Tmobile plan? kind of like an upgrade?

I have the Sage version of the Shadow. Its been about 3months since I bought it. Its a good phone. Battery life is ok and wifi is very good. I paid $200 for it.
