I just hooked up my guitar to GarageBand and I know how to record and everything but I have one question: Can I use garageband to make effects for my guitar without recording it? Like, can I play my guitar all willy-nilly and test out the effects without having to make a recording?
Secondly, when I'm recording a guitar track, how can I get it so I actually hear the guitar WITH EFFECTS (ie: what's being recorded), instead of just the sound of me strumming?
