Is life REALLY as bad as those "reality chat shows" on TV would have us believe? Ever watched Jeremy "Why don't you put something on the end of it" Kyle, and got up from the sofa with a smile, because it makes your life seem so much better? Or ever told a friend that they should go on Jeremy Kyle The Tudors complete set, or felt like things were so bad that YOU should go on the show? Then this article is for you!!I've just watched Jeremy Kyle's 1000th show, and it has inspired me to ask a question, which I've heard asked and answered before many times: "Are the guests real or are they actors?"I've always loved the "reality chat show formula" - Jerry Springer Golf Instruction tv series, Maury Povich, Rikki Lake The Tribe series dvd, Trisha Goddard and of course Mr Jeremy Kyle. Everybody loves Jezza - ooh.... better not let him hear me calling him that Girlfriends complete collection, had I? For some reason he is seen by many people as a God, a miracle worker 90210 series 1-2 box set, a source of sunshine (!) by his fans. But, can sorting out the lives of the depressed, addicted, abused 90210 season 1, pregnant The Closer dvd, promiscuous, jobless rubble of our society really be as simple as a 10 minute slot on national TV airing your dirty laundry The Lord of the Rings complete series, followed by a group of sessions with the wonderful Graham and his team?Whilst researching this article, I came across this quote that says it all: "I think they must all be actors as I cannot believe people are willing to humiliate themselves like this just to be on TV."Lets face it: shows like Kyle's are pure entertainment. We sit on our sofas, laughing at the ridiculousness of the situations his guests find themselves in, trying to understand how they got there and why on earth they did what they did - some of us may even stand up and shout at the guests, just as Kyle does! Thoroughly entertaining! 5 years Kyle has been going The Big Bang Theory series dvd, and 1000 shows broadcast in 11 countries - its a successful formula, one that has brought in the viewers consistently and made him a household name. Kyle has experienced it all - a reformed gambling addict, whose first marriage lasted just 15 months, yet yielded a child. He was a recruitment consultant, turned radio presenter turned TV Leg....no lets not use that word, too many people think of him in that way...TV presenter. When I very first experienced Kyle's show (around 2007 - just as it got going), I thought he was fantastic - he seemed objective Will & Grace entire series, yet opinionated, annoyed Queer as Folk tv series, yet empathetic. He seemed to display sympathy with victims, and even some of the "villains" - unless they were despicable Andromeda on dvd, in which case he despised them! Recently watching it again, probably some 3 years on, and Kyle has changed - he appears to constantly take the moral high ground, giving a look that says "I'm better than you, don't even go there!"Not as objective or empathetic as he once was Breaking Bad seasons dvd, but a little more annoyed and opinionated, like he is 'bigging it up' for the cameras. Don't get me wrong, he still shows sympathy and a willingness to help anybody Michael Jackson dvd box set Shogun set, but I have witnessed him changing his views half way through a show and contradicting himself. That just makes him look like an idiot! So, is it possible that there are enough people in the UK, that have such drastic family feuds, personal problems, promiscuity issues etc as to fill a show every week day for 5 years - given that there are usually 3 stories per show and 5 shows a week, thats 15 stories, a week. In each story there are on average 3 people involved giving a total of 45 people with problems each week. Over 5 years this amounts to 11,700 people wanting to share their problems with Kyle's millions of TV viewers - Trisha Goddard does a similar thing and must have found at least as many people with uniquely different problems to appear on her show. This says that, at some point Criminal Minds complete series, the content of the shows (ie the ready supply of problematic guests) must dry up.What does a daily show, needing a steady supply of stories ER box sets, do when that supply goes?? Do they run a series of "Best of's"? Trisha does this One Foot in the Grave dvd complete series region 6, I know, but Jeremy, not so much. Therefore, if you do not have the people to appear on the show, you still have to satisfy your viewers and cannot stop making it! You hire actors and put on a show! Being in the business I'm in (TV Extra work), we get talking about shows we've done and shows we'd like to do - we also talk about other ways to make money on TV. I remember having a chat with a guy Weeds complete seasons dvd, a couple of years ago, and he was telling me how the Kyle show pay ?00 to each and every guest that appears on the show. Not only that, but they put them up in a nice hotel and pay for meals. Surely if you are unemployed or short of cash, then it is worth your while to invent a story with a couple of mates and go on the show, spend a night out somewhere different, get your cash and leave with a smile?Call me a cynic if you will, but look at the stats - 45 people a week - how big is Graham's team? Ok Big Love dvd boxset, he doesn't necessarily help EVERYBODY, but at least 10-15 people a week benefit from the services of him and his team - not only do they counsel them, but they also follow them for a period of time to ensure that everything is going fine, and keep track of them. The guy's work load must be immense! Does he ever get home? Or is he just some kind of super being Married With Children complete set, as Kyle would have us believe. The thing that fuelled my need to answer the question posed originally was Fringe dvd set, whilst watching the 1000th episode my wife sat up and said "They're out of Corrie!" I don't watch the show Saw box set, so hadn't a clue, to me they looked like complete strangers, but after researching the characters I found that my wife was right - David Platt, Nick Tilsley, Tina McIntyre The Shield - complete collection, Graeme Proctor - the characters were all serving as guests! As a none Corrie (Coronation Street) watcher, I would have only known it was fake had I read the scrolling message at the bottom of the screen AFTER the interview! Not only were the characters acting (their job), but so was Kyle and so was Super Graham, which just goes to show that if they needed to do a show that was not real, with actors, then they could quite easily and I have to say quite convincingly. Trouble is, knowing these facts, how could I then take the next "REAL" story seriously? The other thing that spurred me on and fed the argument was the outtakes that appeared on the 1000th show - Kyle was seen many times 'in serious mode' Chalean dvds cheap, having a go at someone or another and then breaking down in fits of giggles because he'd got something wrong. Not only did he do this but so did his guests.Prompting me to think that things just didn't appear to be genuine There were also outtakes of Kyle and Graham Lost collection, breaking into giggles together, and this came across as them not taking whatever issue was being discussed at the time seriously. The thing it also said to me was that none of it can be real - if people, discussing serious issues can suddenly break down into fits of giggles mid way through a conversation, and then go back and do it again, then it can only be fiction, perpetrated by actors with scripts and prompts and direction.I've picked on Kyle, simply because it was his 1000th show that fuelled my fingers to type, but Springer Miami Medical dvd, Povich Breaking Bad series dvd, Goddard are all as bad as the other - they all do daily shows and they all require as many people Charmed complete series dvd, but where as the American shows cut right across the population spread and therefore have a larger quantity to pick from Ghost Whisperer tv series Brainetics set, the British shows use mainly those of Anglo Saxon descent and therefore have a much smaller pool to choose from. There's no doubt that these shows, regardless of who you watch Chuck complete box set, make us feel great about our own lives and I may even go so far as to say that these shows are almost government propaganda - we live in poor times of recession, few of us have money to spare and therefore we feel resentful for what we pay out and as though we have a hard life, these shows instantly give us the feel good factor and make us feel "things aren't so bad after all"! That can only be good for those in power. I'm not for a second screaming "CONSPIRACY" or "PROPAGANDA", but when you think about the things that both the German and British governments did during the 2nd World War Bleach dvd box sets uk, to give the feel good factor, these shows aren't that far away. This is just one guy's opinion - people watch these shows and believe what they are seeing, and that's just fine. If you are watching these shows though, ask yourself the question next time - "Is this real?" Look a bit deeper than the "skin" of the show and seek out the innards - what's it all about / what are they trying to do or say? By all means watch the shows to make yourself smile, make yourself feel better, for pure entertainment purposes (I know I will be!!), but please don't believe until you know the people on the show and can verify their stories as real.Could I be the next Jeremy Kyle? What do you think?"Take care of yourselves and each other" Project Runway complete series, "Next time America", "See you very soon, take care One Foot in the Grave the complete collection uk, bye bye for now!"
