As i was siting in class, my professor brought upon the question as to why there is no Queen Lear. At first i didn't really think much of it but as I began to put more thought into it, I realized it was beginning to bug me.
I want to treat this question more as a community response. If anyone has any input to the following questions please feel free to share, from a curious student who is fascinated with King Lear.
Why is there no Queen Lear? What light does this fact shed on Lear and the play?
Can you distinguish an arc of psychological and spiritual development in Lear’s character, from denial to acceptance?
