the other day my 'friend'/roommate REALLY ticked me off.

first of all, we are in a fraternity (we're rather socially dead and rarely party). so we had a party about a month ago, and apparently the little **** went around telling everyone about how 'bad' i am at talking to girls. we were both talking to this girl at the party, i MAY have said something offensive to her (if i did, it was completely accidental). but heres the thing: I am born and lived in america my entire life. my roommate has been here for only a few years, so he doesnt quite understand the english language completely and thus cant read body language of americans as well as i can.
so even IF i said something offensive, he has NO right to be talking crap about me to everyone we know.

second, i told him about his talking behind my back, and he WASNT SORRY. if anything, he actually HAD THE NERVE to start yelling and lecturing to me about how i wasnt being a 'brother' since i'm not showing up to the meetings. he also whined like a little baby about how i care too much about what other people think (i was thinking 'look whos talking?!', because whenever i mention that, IN GENERAL, i find FOB girls to be unattractive, he takes offense, even though thats NOT a racist remark)

well, i 'm quitting this lame frat at the end of the semester but cant move out of the house yet as i have nowhere to go. so i have to tolerate him for a few more months.

i'm thinking of just pretending to get along and be his friend, and pretending to show interest in the frat. but once the semester ends, i'll move out and just gradually disappear from them to quit being a member
