This morning on my way to work, I was coming down the hill and I was going the speed limit. I was blinded by the sun and when I saw a car stopped I slammed on my breaks and slid on some ice and hit the woman in front of me. I tried to swerve but the left side of my car still hit her. I have full coverage and this is my first accident. These are my questions!
1) Does it look like my frame is bent?
2) Kelley Blue Book says my car is worth $1,370, do you think that the insurance company will find that repairing my car would cost more than what it is worth?
3) Do you think it is okay to drive?
The air bags did not deploy and I drove it back to my house after the cops told me I could. It is a 2003 Kia Spectra with about 117,000 miles on it. Thank you so much if you can help in any way!
Also, if you are wondering why I have full coverage on an old car, it is because I am so young. The insurance company told my parents that they have to have full coverage on the car that I am driving.
