rear indicator problem BMW 316?

Problem started a couple of days ago,the left rear indicator stopped working.after i moved around the connection it worked for a bit then it stopped again.so i changed the bulb but still have the same problem, if i move the connection i see the bulb works fine (test with hazards on) then ill get back in the car and pretty much straight away the onboard computer indicates a problem.

Any help much appreciated
 
Check the wiring behind the bulb. Sounds like the connecting wiring harness may have come loose. If it comes on and off like that, then it is a wire with a loose connection right behind the bulb. Good Luck. Should be about a 2 minute fix!
