recalibrate digital scale?

I have a digital scale and it reads "out2". I need to recalibrate but I don't know how to. I don't have a manual for it.

(There is a picture on the left and its the silver 1.)
I need to recalibrate. I already went out and bought new batteries and still same problem.
 
Remove the batteries and replace them with new ones. Removing the power source should reset it's circuits and set it back to its default
