The batteries in my baby monitor are 1300 mAh and the time they last for is really poor. Is it ok to buy 2300 mAh and use these instead or will it damage the monitor?
the parent unit is a rechargeable unit and therefore came with rechargeable batteries.

you really should NOT be using Rechargeable in this application.

Rechargeable are low voltage, 1.20.Vdc while alkaline are 1.50Vdc.

In this application, you really need the extra voltage.

If you insist to user rechargeable, then the 2.3AH are better than the 1.3AH, they will last longer but not as long as a alkaline.
