Recommendation for a Book about Martial Arts?

i'm doing an oral book report for english, and i'm looking for a book that really interests me, because of course i want to do a book that i'm interested in, haha xD

so i'm looking for a book that's about a minor (teenager, child, etc. just not an adult lol) who goes through something to do with martial arts (preferredly, tae kwondo or kung fu [: ). maybe a ninja, learning about weapons, a teenager on the run... anything like that haha

i don't have any books in mind (i don't know ANY books about martial artists that aren't how-to's -___-l|l). i've been looking online and stuff, but my only resources are my school library and the HB library, and right now that doesn't seem like much :\

haha well, if anybody can help, that'd be great

p.s. maybe i do sorta have a book in mind... something that's like the Five Ancestors ...

but the trouble is, that's a children's book. and i'm a freshman. plus i'm supposed to be reading "higher-level" books because i'm in honors. xD

Well there is a lot though about ninjas and kids on the run who are trained to defend themselves.
There is the Tamora Pierce Series of Protector of the Small which is a girl who trains to become a knight and there is martial arts in there.
