Recommended anime for my tastes?

Okay well, I've been just watching anime almost non-stop lately, and I've been wondering if there we're more animes that could be reccomended.

I've been watching

Higurashi
Azumanga Daioh
DNAngel
Rozen Maiden
Seto no Hanayome (my bride is a mermaid)
Tenchi in Tokyo
Tenchi OVA
and Tenchi Universe
I've also seen some Naruto, but that got kinda boring
One Piece is not my kind of anime, Gundum seed really isn't either.
I've seen some of Samurai Champloo and kind of liked it.
Ruroni Kenshin was a good anime
Some harem animes are okay to me, but most I lose interest in unless theres actually something going on, I do love mystery animes, but Detective Conan got too repetitive and they showed you the killer from the very beginning...

Hope to see some good animes listed ^^
 
Anyone who likes anime should check out Dragonball Z. I also recommend Berzerk and Death Note.

Hmm try watching these.

peacemaker - really good samurai anime.

School days - has a surprise ending.

Clannad - good story line

shuffle

green green - real perverted lol

gantz -gory, sexual, and keeps you on edge

Elfen lied- nudity, gory, and very awesome
 
Well you could watch Death Note. Its too awesome and different than all the other animes. I would also recommend Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach. Devil May cry is good too but only if you have played the video game.
 
there is B Gata H Kei great anime an it just cam out along with Gokujou Mecha Mote Iinchou and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! they all just came out and are great animes.
 
Death note (also read the manga)

Gankutsuou (my favourite anime of all time, excellent and gripping storyline (each episode leaves you on the edge of your seat), beautiful and unique animation/colour style, it's also a series where the anime came first)

Durarara! (very amusing but also a good story, though sometimes confusing)

Code Geass (Very popular and a very well done anime)

Elfen Lied (Very gorey but if you can get past it, it's quite a good anime)

Tsubasa Chronicles

Ouran Highschool Host Club (Another of my favourites, very funny, great expressions, a worthwhile romantic comedy)

FFVII advent children and last order (not an anime so much but very worth watching)

I also recommend ALL of the Studio Ghibli films such as Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo etc. there is a large range and they all have wonderful story lines and animation work, and since they're movies you don't have to commit like you do a series
