recycling questions..maybe dumb lol?

I am starting to recycle and...I have to admit, I don't know too much about what all to put in my "recycling bag" so, I was just wondering if people would just give me different things..I know paper of course...I want to be able to recycle everything I can so...tips will be great :) thanks
 
Paper, plastics (marked with 1 or 2 at the bottom), glass bottles, cardboard, aluminum and tin cans. Some recycling companies require that these different materials be sorted and collected in different bins. My recycling company collects everything together, and have machines that sort everything out at the factory. Check with your company to determine local guidelines.
