Red or White Wine..............?

I was wondering which kind of wine contains more alcohol or is stronger. I drink white wine sometimes but i heard that red wine is stronger... is it true???
 
Both wines have a range that goes all the way up to about 17% ABV... there's no rule as to which is stronger as it varies from wine to wine.
