Red Tailed Shark Information?

i just bought a red tailed shark for a project.

i have a few questions:

how often do i feed it?

can i go 2 days without food (over the weekend)?

does it need a lamp on top of the aquarium?

and just if you could give me some basic info please...

I don't think this is going to be a a project I approve of...what is it?

Basic Care:

50 Gallon Tank+
Does need some kind of light, does not need a lid over the tank.
You have a filter and heater? Both required.
Can eat high quality tropical flake food (tetra etc.)

Just an Idea: If you don't have a heater/filter please take it back, best of luck...humane projects!
