I reformatted my Compaq laptop running Windows XP (home edition). I did reinstall but somewhere along the lines I must've missed something.
I am now unable to connect to wireless internet. There's not even an option anywhere on the computer to connect wirelessly. I wonder if it got lost when I reformatted.
Do I need to reinstall something? Or is there a secret to getting Wi-Fi to work after reformatting.
*Note: There's a button on my laptop that I can usually press to start looking for Wi-Fi connections. I can't even get the button to light up since I reformatted. My internet is stable; it is working on all other computers in the house.
Thanks!
