im studying primatology so i spend a lot of time around chimpanzees.
Why is it that chimpanzees are able to recognize us as something similar to them(according to your faith)? why is it that when women with newborns hold their babies up to female chimpanzees with newborns they will also raise their baby up for them to admire each others babies? why is it that when a human female interacts with young/infant chimps in a manner similar to that of real chimps the dominant male will invite them to the troop as if she is no different? why is it that chimpanzees recognize us as something almost like family when religion will not recognize them as anything familiar to humans?
o yea ild also like to point out there is a group of bonobos in the wild that is so secluded they have only been observed a few times by a handful of researchers. they have been observed playing in water as a group and making crude spears to jam down hollow trees in a hunting trend for small animals. the water thing is amazing because apes are inherently afraid of water and generally only go to it to drink. and the spear thing is pretty obvious
