I'm doing a study on Witchcraft and I found myself digging deep into Wicca.
I'm not exactly sure if this is what i'm looking for though.
I'm looking for a healthy Non-Evil religion that has to do with Witchcraft and spells.
Are there any spells out there that work immediately and significantly?
Like for example there could be a spell to clear or create fire before your eyes maybe. Or heal a small wound within a few minutes.
It's a long shot i know but I'm curious.
I've seen silly things like winning lotteries and casting love spells on the neighborhood cutie that I find ridiculous.
I'm looking for something good and wholesome.
Something that uses the five elements to do good.
I guess im looking for a Harry Potter type thing but i want something more spiritual and religious.
Is there anything out there like that?
I understand most of Harry Potter is fiction but it is based on actual Witchcraft. I just want to find out what typre of Pagan religion is used if any. And i applaud Mr. Pancake dude ^.^

The only true magic I believe in is Love! Plus, Christianity believes in miracles and exorcism, but only someone with a holy soul, a saint, can do them. Someone who is in theosis, who is one with God.

Don't go for a lot of gods. Divine means perfect, and two different prfections don't exist, because if A is perfect and B is not the same as A, then B cannot be perfect.. Therefore there is only one true perfect (divine) nature and substance. So, we have then only one God. Monotheism has threfore the answer. But ofcourse, you can believe in a Duality or a Trinity (or in a Unity).

Don't do a little for a lot of gods, but everything for one God.

The gods are dead. Christ has killed them.

PS: Harry Potter is written by an Anglican Christian - J.K.Rowling.

Peace, may God bless you :)

Wicca is probably as good as any, if you want to follow a specific religion. Lots of Pagans and Witches (you can be both a Pagan and a Witch, but being one doesn't necessarily make you both) draw from multiple paths and are called Eclectic. Anything you find suitable, it's fine to follow.

Most spells take time to work. There might be things, usually little things, you can get to happen fairly quickly. Putting a wish out to the universe and keeping your intent clear will do it, but not necessarily when or how you think.

Example: I once tested this out by asking for a free Sunday newspaper. The next Sunday came and went, no free paper, so I figured it hadn't worked. The Sunday after that, there was a giveaway of newspapers in my apartment building.

You could also try something fun and harmless, like wishing to see a man wearing a purple hat. Or, if you're driving somewhere, clear your intent to get a parking place in the most convenient spot. No matter what you're asking for, though, specify that it come in a way that is for the good of everyone and harms no one.

You can also cast much bigger spells, but those take lots more work and are often a group effort. I was recently in a ritual where a spell was worked for the healing of the earth and its waters. The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was first in mind, but it was also a general healing spell. Of course, the oil spill isn't going to clean itself right up just because a group of us did a spell for it, but doing those kinds of spells can give a magickal boost to more mundane efforts.
