opposed it, but? ... now that the bill has been passed, new polls - even on Fox News - show that a slim majority of Americans now support the bill! Yet, the Republicans who hollered so loudly about "the will of the people" and "majority rule" have not changed their stance to match. They still want to repeal the bill, even though the majority now supports it. Isn't this terribly hypocritical...?
 
People are easily swayed mainly because they are so into their own lives that they don't have time for politics, so the polls now are swinging slightly. When the American people finally figure out what is in this bill , we are going to be luck if there aren't riots in the streets!
The bill is genuinely frightening !
I believe that many politicians who upheld this bill have written their own politically obituary by voting for it !
 
People who really pay attention to the news haven't been swayed. They're not fooled.

It's sad that the majority of Americans won't know what's going to hit them in about 4 years when it takes effect.

It will be: "What do you mean I HAVE to buy health insurance? What do you mean I'm going to be fined if I don't?"... What do you mean I can't get that surgery I need so desperately?"
 
Not in their eyes. They accepted money from insurance companies to block this, so that's what they are going to try to do. They are just sticking to their morals, no matter how out of focus they are.
