So I've found my dream apartment, but they are saying the only tv/telco providers I can have is century link and directv because it is "pre-wired for this," is this legal, is it against FCC guidelines? Is there any way I can fight this?
Well I know that the FCC ruled that they are not within their rights to refuse residents to have a dish if it is either on a patio or balcony, but I'm trying to figure out if they are in their rights to determine what provider you choose. I don't really care about dish, I mean I like it it's great and all but the real reason I want it is because I get the Internet and tv for free! Free sounds a lot better than direct and century links high prices and outrageous contract terms.
