Her name is synonymous with beauty counters and anti-wrinkle creams, but Evelyn Lauder was also a huge champion for women's health, as a founder of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and an outspoken advocate for breast cancer awareness (who happened to help make pink ribbons as ubiquitous as they are today).
