Ripping Movies/episodes from DVD?

I have got a bunch of movies on my PC because my younger siblings always destroy my discs if i leave them anywhere within reach. They are like 4.5Gb each... When you torrent a movie it is like 700Mb and episodes are like 200-300Mb, What is the FASTEST program to use for this? not necessarily free, i don't care. All i get is programs that convert .vob, so then your movie is broken to like 3 files >:|
tl;dr i need something like DVD shrink that will output into .avi ~<1Gb per movie
 
I think you can use Blaze Media Pro.. It is fast and easy to use.
