Robert Griffin III, the exciting rookie quarterback for the Washington Redskins, didn’t finish the game on Sunday after suffering a mild concussion. Although concussions are taken more serious these days, the Redskins are talking like Griffin should be able to suit up and play next week.
“Right now it looks good,” said Mike Shanahan, the head coach of the Broncos. “I’m not really sure if it stays that way. The professionals will monitor his situation and let us know if able he’s able to play or not.”
On the season, Griffin has four passing touchdowns and four rushing touchdowns. He also has only one interceptions and one lost fumble. His completion percentage and quarterback rating are both impressive: 69.1% and 101.0, respectively.
If Griffin is a go next weekend, he remains a strong play in fantasy football.
