Safari internet browser?

Whenever i try to log into my facebook, and email it says Safari can’t open the page ” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server why is it doing this and how can i fix it?

2 suggestions to try
1. Make sure you have the newest version of Safari that your computer will handle. Under the APPLE Menu, top left, go to update and follow the prompts.
2. Try downloading the Firefox browser from Mozilla.com. After it is installed go to preferences, advanced, and make sure SSL is selected.
