Samsung Entro phone wont turn on?

My phone will not turn on. The battery had died, and I plugged it in. It will load the start up screen that has a Samsung bar that loads, then that screen will go away after about 7-10 minutes and a blank black lit up screen appears and nothing else happens. I've tried removing the battery, plugging in, unplugging, turning on with just the battery, turning on with being plugged in.. nothing works. Any ideas? I was researching online and it seems this has happened to a couple other Samsung Entro phones.. but there was no answer as to what happened or how to fix this.. :(

Samsung Entro...AKA Crap

I'm having the exact same problem with mine. The battery died overnight on Friday, so I plugged it in on saturday late afternoon...it started up and everything seemed fine so I left it alone...when I went to leave the house I had the black screen of death switching between the Samsung loading bar and the glowing black screen of death. :-/

I'm with Bell and I'm almost done my contract....I'll be FURIOUS if there's nothing they can do for me. (Phone is 6 months old and I bought it outright (cash) because I didn't want to extend my contract.)

Yea, I just got the exact same issue from the exact same situation (battery dying and what not). I too bought in Cash as to not extend a contract with Bell. There is no damage on this one, cracks, or anything they can put on me. I feel sorry for them if they do not replace it for me free of charge. My phone is also only a couple months past 6 months.
 
same here, i turned off my phone for the night, and i plugged it in, i woke up the next morning, and my phone wouldn't turn on, i tried everything, nothing works, i've tried to reset it. i've had my phone for 2 months.:3_8_14[1]:

Exact same thing with my Entro!
I had the LG Rumor 2 prior to buying this Samsung Entro with Bell, , And it happened to the Rumor aswell!
They told me it was something with the phone itself, not the battery.
They put a brand new battery in the phone and everything, but no dice.
So I bought the Entro, hoping for a better quality phone, having to extent my contract -_-

I'm getting furious with the phone quality these days!
I'm considering switching phone companies. -_-

Same thing happened to me and i dont know how to send it away to get it fixed. mines 7 months :(
 
Same happened to me!!!!! My Entro has been doing that all night! I am so mad!!!!!! I dont have warranty and there is a crack in the screen so I doubt they will bother replacing or fixing.
 
im having the exact same problem with my entro and i might have had it for 2 months im also on a bell contract and my contract just started and if they dont replace my phone im gonna be so mad:/
 
My has the same problem. I took out the battery and tried to turn it on like that, but when you press the button all it does is show the samsung bar, turn black and repeat. I havent even had my phone for a month. Bell is such a horrible company and no one knows how to fix this. I'll be going to the company tomorrow probably. :bad:
 
I have the same problem with my Samsung Entro, I'm with SOLO Bells side company. They want to send it to Samsung to replace it, but it will take 4-10 weeks to replace it, and if I want a loaner phone it will take 10+ days to get it to me and costs me 25$ to get.
Bell and Solo are by far the worst company i've ever dealt with.

I just got this phone turned on. If its looping fromt he loading screen and not turning on fully, if you have a memory card in it, remove that, remove the battery, wait about a minute, and turn it back on. It will then turn on.
 
my phone did the exact same thing, but i got it turned on, all i did was took out my microSD card and plugged it in then it turned on and i just put my SD back in.. workks great :)
 
ugh, this happened to me yesterday, phone was working perfectly, then had to take out bat at school so it wouldnt vibrate during class, at lunch go to turn it on, and it stoped working.. iv had the phone for a month. im sooo pissed.
 
FIXED IT!

Hey guys,

We were having the same problem with my room mate's phone, it just went black and after taking out and replacing the battery a couple times, I was convinced we were going to have to replace it. But I found a mention of someone fixing the problem by removing the micro SD card and then replacing the battery. As a last ditch effort I tried it - removed the card and the battery, waited a little bit (like 5 minutes) and then replaced the battery without the SD card. The Samsung screen came up as it had been doing before, and I just left it alone. After about 10 minutes, the phone turned back on. Replace the SD card in the slot, and good as new!

Hope this helps. I'm not sure why it works, but it did for me.
 
What if you don't have a memory card/ sd card? I don't have one to take out. I need it to work!
 
samething here!! :O this happened to me once allready, i took it to the bell store to fix and they did. had to deal with the loaner phone and could not get a contact list so i had to get all my contacts back once for the loaner and once when i got my actual phone back because they wiped EVERYTHING off of it. ik how it is very aggrivating, its doing it again right now.
 
tried taking battery and sd card out, waiting, then turning back on without card. it worked!!!! thank you so much for tip id die without ma phone thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
SIM CARDS!!vmy at firt would go a very faint blue after the samsung load bar cam on for about 20 mins. o read hat just taking out my sim card let my phone turn on.. so if anybodys having issueswith their phone and have a sim card, try taking it out.! worked for me.. on the other hand i too just got the black screen today and need to send it in for repairs :'( screw bell
 
anyone know how to get a contact list from bell when the phones having issues? or issit possible?
 
Same exact problem 3 times.. the first time it happend i sent it away, they fixed it, or so i thought, 2 weeks later same problem so i sent it away..then all seemed well until that damn blue screen so now im not bothering to send it away... the phone suits its name "entro" which means the end...
