Samsung-F 480 Adding Text Message Widget, when it's not in the ava options?

Hi, I have a Samsung-F 480 touch-screen mobile, and I want to put a text messaging widget on my phone.

I know a few people with the widget, but they seem to be with a different provider than me (ie Vodaphone to my Telstra).

In the customising widget menu, I don't have an option to select a text messaging widget.

Can anyone help?!
