Samsung Fascinate.Help Needed ASAP?

Hey everyone,

I really like the samsung fascinate, the phone looks incredible. I have one question though, I am an avid texter, and I saw that it was "swipe" instead of a qwerty keyboard, can you still text normally, with the qwerty keyboard or do you have to do "swipe" where you drag your finger for every word and lift up to put a space??
Sorry if this sounds like a complicated question.

In other words, how is the texting on the phone?

You can either press each letter individually or slide the letters (SWYPE) to text words..
